Season 3 of Modern warfare 3 has arrived with a packed lineup of new DLC content, bringing fresh multiplayer maps, new weapons, game modes, and updates for Zombies. Whether you’re into fast-paced 6v6 action, sniping from long range, or grinding new missions in Zombies, this season adds something for every type of player.
Season 3 Modern Warfare 3 weapons and unlocks breakdown
Season 3 of Modern Warfare 3 is officially here and with it comes the biggest collection of DLC weapons we have seen in the game so far. From the nostalgic return of Modern Warfare 2019 guns to wild new conversion kits and powerful melee rewards, the content is stacked across Warzone, multiplayer, and Zombies. Activision is clearly aiming to keep long-time fans happy while adding some wildcards to shake up the current meta.
Here’s a detailed breakdown of every confirmed weapon coming in Season 3, how to unlock them, and what to expect once they’re in your loadouts.
Kilo 141 is back as a free login bonus
The highly-requested Kilo 141 makes its return on April 2. Players can unlock it simply by logging into Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone that day. Even if Warzone servers are temporarily offline, launching the game and interacting with the menus will automatically add the rifle to your account.
It’s the exact same Kilo from Modern Warfare 2019 and will be available across all modes. If the gun does not appear right away, it should be made available to everyone by April 3 without requiring any additional challenge or purchase. This is a fan-favorite weapon known for its low recoil and consistent damage, so expect it to make a big impact in the current meta.
Battle Pass adds HDR and CR-56 AMAX for free
Two more weapons from MW19 are coming through the Season 3 Battle Pass. The HDR sniper rifle and CR-56 AMAX are both included in the pass and will be unlockable by progressing through its tiers.
The HDR appears on page 3 as the HVT reward with an additional blueprint available on page 11. Meanwhile, the CR-56 AMAX is the HVT reward on page 6, and its blueprint is part of the completion sector. Both weapons are usable in all game modes and will eventually be unlockable through XP challenges in the Armory or by buying specific bundles.
The return of the VLK optic, a MW19 staple, has also been spotted on an AMAX blueprint. There are some concerns that classic attachments may be locked behind blueprints, but most are expected to become available through regular weapon progression.

Grau-style conversion kit for SWAT 556
The SWAT 556 receives a major update this season through a new conversion kit available on page 5 of the Battle Pass. This kit transforms the SWAT into a full-auto rifle similar to the MW19 Grau, with boosted accuracy, mobility, and handling.
It does come with some trade-offs. Damage and range are reduced, and barrel attachments are blocked. The kit includes a new barrel and a 50-round extended mag, but players will not be able to customize the barrel slot. While this version of the weapon may not exactly match the old Grau, it should still be a close alternative for fans of that style of gameplay.
Nail Gun arrives during the tribute event
The Nail Gun returns to Call Of Duty in Season 3 as part of the Black Ops tribute event starting on April 17. This is the same Nail Gun seen in Black Ops Cold War and previously in Black Ops 3. It is a full-auto close-range weapon with fast handling and four magazines of 15 rounds each.
Damage drops off after about 25 meters, but it is highly effective in close combat. The Nail Gun was briefly a top-tier option in Warzone during its previous release, and it may be poised to take over again depending on how it performs post-launch.
Ladra SMG brings Spectre vibes back
Another weapon coming mid-season is the Ladra SMG, expected to arrive during Season 3 Reloaded. While it was initially mistaken for the OTS or Capris from older titles, players have now identified it as a reimagining of the Spectre SMG.
The Ladra is a fully automatic weapon with a high fire rate, excellent range, and low recoil. Headshots increase its damage output, helping offset its lower base damage. Extended mags are considered essential for this gun, especially for those planning to use it in multiplayer or close-quarters Warzone fights.
Kali sticks return in Warzone-only event
Melee fans will be happy to know the Kali sticks are also making a comeback. These were last seen in MW19 and became infamous for their quick takedowns. Players can unlock them during the Return to Fans event by opening safes at marked points of interest in Warzone.
These sticks will be usable in all game modes after being unlocked. While they are frustrating to play against, they remain one of the most unique melee options in Call of Duty history.
Monolithic suppressor added to armory
Another throwback attachment making a return is the monolithic suppressor. Known for its superior sound suppression and range boost, this muzzle was a go-to pick in MW19. It will either be added to the Armory or included in the Battle Pass.
It slightly decreases agility due to added weight but is perfect for large maps and stealth builds. Expect this attachment to become popular again, especially for players who favor suppressed loadouts in Warzone.
Black Ops tribute event adds more conversion kits
The tribute event on April 17 will not only bring the Nail Gun but also introduce new conversion kits for two more weapons:
- C9 10mm Auto Conversion: Converts the C9 to use high-caliber 10mm rounds for more stopping power. It functions similarly to the stopping power rounds from previous games.
- Goblin Mini Rocket Conversion: This kit transforms the Goblin into a full-auto launcher with explosive ammo. It deals splash damage but suffers from low bullet velocity and reduced fire rate. It blocks mags, barrels, and muzzles, equipping its own custom barrel and mag instead.
These two kits could seriously shake up both Warzone and Zombies play, especially the Goblin which has the potential to serve as a hybrid between SMG and launcher.
More surprise weapons are expected in the mid-season update
Season 3 is already massive, but there is still more to come. The April 17 update is expected to bring limited-time modes, event passes, and possibly more DLC weapons. This could include other melee options or brand-new guns not yet revealed in the Season 3 roadmap.
This makes it one of the most exciting updates in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone to date. Between fan-favorite weapons, nostalgia-driven attachments, and new experimental loadouts, players have plenty of reason to keep grinding through Season 3.
